Artist- Scholar- Choreographer

Alyah Baker is a dance artist, scholar, and choreographer working at the intersection of art and embodied activism. For the past 18 years, she has worked as a freelance artist performing classical, contemporary, and commercial works throughout the US. Alyah has been featured in repertory by Balanchine, Antony Tudor, Laura Dean, José Limón, and Alonzo King, among others. She trained with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Carolina Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet of New York before joining California-based, Oakland Ballet and ABDproductions.
